The biggest and best schnitzel i've ever had!!! We ate at a very traditional German Restaurant where our hostess was also our server and cook and when we asked for a menu she said "I am the menu!"
Waiting for the train...we thought we were so cute until all the German folk pointed and laughed at our shoes...which were flip-flops! (Especially the old ladies)
A view of the gardens from outside El Escorial, a royal palace and monestary.
We are standing in front of Madrid's emblem "el oso y el madroño" in Puerta del Sol.
Out with some amigos at a local cerveceria! (It was Lara's Birthday!)
We look happy but we're not really fans of the bus...train...or metro! We have to ride the bus to school everyday and it took us about 3 trips to finally get it right. Yesterday Kelly actually got stuck on the bus after I got off! Apparently, her shoe got stuck between the seats...but she got off at the next stop and walked across the bridge so everything worked out just fine.

This is jamón....just hangin' out in the supermercado! Also, 39,90 is about 60 American dollars!
This was our first day of school! We were the only people in our Spanish class from "Estados Unidos" and had a difficult time understanding our crazy maestra!
